Today is starting out as a rainy day and our crew has just left in all their silly looking rain gear. Woops! They are back. Dixie got a block down the street and had a flat tire.
Several riders are having second thoughts about even riding today.
We are staying in Mike and Barbs driveway just south of Waterloo. The team met them last evening along the road and the invited us to stay with them. We parked the camper in their driveway and are using their utilities. Also had ice cream and cookies last night. They hosted 14 Ragbrai people last night.
Now at 1 in the afternoon the rain has stopped, the sun is shining and the bikers have a strong headwind for the rest of the day.
Even tho everyone seems to be having a good time I'm hearing a lot of I"ll be glad to get home".
